MOBILE, Ala. (May 4, 2010) Floating barriers are staged on Dauphin Island in preparation for deployment to areas around the Gulf Coast near Mobile Bay. A growing oil slick approaching the area has prompted government and private sector assets to coordinate recovery efforts in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
